I watched a nearly 3-hour documentary on Netflix about FLW (on instant watch - still there if you'd like to check it out) which covered his entire life, his work and all of the personal drama.

During the trip, we also visited Kentuck Knob, also known as the Hagan House, which is just a few miles from Fallingwater. Both homes were spectacular but very different, indicative of FLW's evolving style over the years (and budget, Kentuck Knob is much smaller).

I have a few pictures of both homes in my Flickr set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamiesworld/sets/7...

You should definitely visit the area if you have a chance, we stayed in a B&B which was lovely and also were able to visit other local attractions, many historical sites, etc. Very quiet and beautiful there in western PA.

Re: Seizing The Day » Blog Archive » I Can See Clearly Now

nice! ... another nice version is 'our' own Holly Cole Trio ..maybe you've seen it?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f68uFGwLd84

Re: Twitterture

how you commented on this on New Year's Eve, 1969 is the real history mystery to me.

Re: Together in electric dreams

Great post, really help me alot. You can ignore them @tweets easily enough if they don't interest you, or block the person if they are annoying, but the point is connecting and conversing, not posting to a small group - BIG CONVERSATION.

Thanks for being the first I've seen to take this stance...

Dave

Re: Top 10 Unintentionally Hilarious Domain Names

Oh I love stuff like this.
